As a centre for outpatient rehabilitation and health at Lake Spandau, we would like to give you the means to strengthen your health and alleviate suffering. The outpatient rehabilitation treatment we offer takes place on weekdays from Monday to Friday and usually lasts from 3 to a maximum of 5 weeks.

Rehabilitation treatment can be requested by general practitioners and other specialists. During a hospital stay, the doctors working in the hospital can register rehabilitation treatment for you if you wish.

In our diabetology department, we offer our patients optimal blood sugar control to avoid complications and secondary diseases. Typical consequences of uncontrolled diabetes mellitus are damage to blood vessels and nerves. These can affect various organs and trigger correspondingly different diseases, especially of the heart, kidneys, reproductive organs, skin and eyes. That is why it is important to recognise and treat diabetes in time. We support you in this endeavour.

Our Department of Pulmonary Medicine (Pneumology) helps patients suffering from the consequences of COPD, asthma, long COPD, tuberculosis, pulmonary fibrosis, cystic fibrosis or other lung diseases. From gentle massages of the deep respiratory muscles to careful breathing training and endurance training, we offer our patients a rehabilitation programme adapted to their individual needs and possibilities. In order to optimally improve the physical performance of lung patients and also to maintain it in the long term, it is important to start training as early as possible in the course of the disease and to adhere to the training protocol as best as possible. We support you in this goal.

Our cardiology department is completely dedicated to heart health. We rehabilitate in our facility according to the most modern standards of medical treatment all patients who want to regain their strength after heart and vascular operations (e.g. bypass surgery, pacemaker implantation, operations on the aorta) or acute or chronic diseases of the heart (cardiac insufficiency, heart attack, cardiac arrhythmias, high blood pressure).

Our angiology department deals with the function and diseases of the arteries, veins and lymph vessels. Through our specially designed therapies, we help you improve circulation and endurance to walk longer distances again and relieve pain.
